Home Is Where The Heart Is
Apr 06, 2020
During this unprecedented time there is so much that is out of our control and this can be unnerving, one thing you can control is your household. I am personally taking this time to attend to all home maintenance, physical and emotional. We are all so busy in our daily lives that sometimes the ones that we love the most miss out on our attention. These daily actions build up over time, years go by, and suddenly your saying what happened to my relationship, rather it be spouse, child, mother, father, brother, or sister, these relationships often take the back burner to our daily lives. As we shelter at home, take this time to give your loved ones your full attention. A home is more than the physical structure it starts with the family and love inside the home. I am the first one to notice a mark on my walls or a chip on my baseboard, I am on it, pulling out the paint and attending to any home maintenance. But I will admit, a look of disappointment will often pass right by me, I am working on giving these emotional items the same attention that I would my home maintenance. I am grateful for this time, had life not had a chance to slow down, I would not have noticed the little things that could later be big things. I encourage you all to take this time to create the home that you have always wanted. This quality time will create lifelong memories. At the end of this, if your home is strong inside and out, we will all come out stronger and more united.
